The Tennessee West Division made its third stop at Pickwick Landing State Park. The tournament was preceded by a Friday night meeting held at Sharon Baptist Church in Savannah, TN. One of our anglers, Jeff Hardy, shared his experience with cancer and how God used it to challenge him to focus on the important things in life. The church provided a wonderful fish supper and all the trimmings.

Forty six teams blasted off around 5:15 am. By days end, the top three teams reported catching their fish on typical summer time patterns. The anglers used Carolina-rigged lizards and deep diving crankbaits fished on ledges, humps and points. Finishing in first place was Randy Haynes who was fishing solo. He landed a limit weighing 20.71 pounds. Second place went to Kimble and Jason Bolen. They also had a limit weighing 15.28 pounds. They also had the big bass of the day which weighed 4.99 pounds. Neal and Tim Escue rounded out the top three with a limit weighing 13.77.
